2021 jeep cherokee vs 2021 ford bronco

2021 jeep cherokee vs 2021 ford bronco

There's nothing quite like having a Jeep Cherokee in Calgary. It's stylish enough for the city streets and packed with off-road capabilities when you want to get out of town for an adventure. With the imminent arrival of the 2021 Jeep Cherokee, there's a lot of speculation as to what this newest edition will have to offer. Keep reading to find out more about this latest Jeep Cherokee release as well as to see how it stacks up against the 2021 Ford Bronco, then visit us at Country Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to pre-book your 2021 Jeep Cherokee.

The 2021 Jeep Cherokee

As mentioned above, the 2021 Jeep Cherokee hasn't been released yet, so there's still some speculation as to what to expect from it. You can likely anticipate fresh styling with the familiar Jeep themes and a more refined interior and there will likely be more engine choices. This could very well be the start of the fifteen Cherokee generation as Jeep has announced that this will be a full redesign for 2021.

The Jeep Cherokee is in the unique position of having to deliver the comfort and convenience that's expected of a family-friendly small SUV as well as have more off-road capabilities that make it quintessentially Jeep. The 2021 version offers several active safety features that are now standard, including automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and more. The standard features have also been reshuffled in the lineup. For example, heated exterior mirrors are not standard on the base model while the Trailhawk will see a standard heated steering wheel and front seats as well as a remote start.

In addition, there will be an 80th Anniversary Edition based on the Latitude LUX trim that will, as a result, inherit all the same standard features. Highlights of the Anniversary Edition include Granite Crystal 19-inch wheels, leather upholstery with contrast stitching, power-adjustable front seats, a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a panoramic sunroof.

When it comes to engines, there's the standard 2.4 L 4-cylinder, the available 3.2 L V-6, and the turbocharged 2.0 L 4-cylinder.

The 2021 Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco is a much closer competitor to the Jeep Wrangler if we're being honest. It offers a 2-door and 4-door body and gives drivers the option of removing the doors and roof. Each Bronco model is designed for a specific adventure, allowing drivers to choose the one that best fits their lifestyle.

The standard 4x4 2.3 L EcoBoost engine delivers best-in-class performance with 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose the available 2.7 L EcoBoost with 4x4 and a best-in-class horsepower of 310 with 400 lb-ft of torque. These are paired with either the class-exclusive 7-speed manual transmission or the available segment-first SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission that offers impressive low gears for off-roading and a high top-end gear for fuel efficiency.

The Electronic-Shift-On-The-Fly Two-Speed Transfer Case is a part-time system that offers three modes as well as Neutral. 4H and 4L offer mechanically locked four-wheel-drive power in addition to increated wheel torque in 4L when you encounter deep sand, steep grades, or when pulling heavy objects while 4H gives your front wheels varied power for optimum performance for all on-road conditions.
